Robert's Story
Life
In High School, the good old days when everyone had a "Garage Band," I aspired to be a famous Rock Star. After humbling myself to the fact that I really sucked, that changed. One of my real loves is flying. I bought the Recruiter's spiel and decided that I wanted to learn to fly Helicopters, courtesy of Uncle Sam, but an operation for a Hiatial Hernia screwed that up as well. 972, when I went into Law Enforcement, joining the Miami Twp. Police Department. I worked both the Police Department and the Tool Shop (Don't all cops have at least 2 jobs?)until 1977, when I left Miami Twp. and joined the Mad River Twp. Police Department. Mad River Twp. eventually merged with the Village of Riverside (OH) and became the City of Riverside. I retired in 1999 after 27 years. Other than doing some private Traffic Crash & Crime Scene Reconstruction Work, I sit and watch the grass grow, cutting it as necessary.
I never attended a Reunion until 1988 (Our 20th). I regret that, as I was reunited with many old friends who I will never forget.
I would love to hear from old friends and school mates. Hope I will be fortunate to hear from some of you and wish you all well.
